Audit findings (summarizing conformity and detailing nonconformity) will be recorded by the audit team using specific forms. Nonconformities are recorded and classified as follows: Major nonconformity – nonconformity that affects the capability of the management system to achieve the intended results. Major nonconformity can be either a significant doubt that effective process control is in place or products or services will meet specific requirements or a number of minor nonconformities associated with the same requirement or issue that could demonstrate a systemic failure. Minor nonconformity – a nonconformity that does not affect the capability of the management system to achieve the intended results. |

9. | Opening and closing meetings The audit starts with the opening meeting. The purpose of the opening meeting is to provide a short explanation of how the audit activities will be undertaken.
